Alpha Epsilon Delta is the National Health Preprofessional Honor Society dedicated to the encouragement and recognition of excellence in preprofessional health scholarship, including medicine, dentistry, veterinary, and others. The Society welcomes ALL students engaged in the pursuit of a professional healthcare career. AED offers opportunities for intellectual and professional development, provides a forum for students with common interests, and extends a program of service to benefit the college/university community. Alpha Epsilon Delta is affiliated with the American Association for the Advancement of Science and is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies.

Auction is going on NOW! and ends at midnight tuesday March 31st. Bidding starts at $300.
The value of a normal MCAT course is $1,899. The highest bidder will
have up to 3 years to use it (so even a freshman can win and use it
later).

Goals

The Society aims to "encourage and recognize excellence in premedical
scholarship; to stimulate an appreciation of the importance of premedical
education; to promote communication between medical and premedical students and
educators; to provide a forum for students with common interests; and to use its
resources to benefit health organizations, charities and the community." (From National

History

Alpha Epsilon Delta (AED) is a national honor society for students preparing
for careers in human medicine, dental medicine, osteopathic medicine, veterinary
medicine, and other allied health professions. It is the world's largest Honor
Society that exclusively serves premedical students, with more than 135,000
members in 177 chapters. It was organized at the University of Alabama on April
28, 1926. 

Next Meeting

The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 4th at 5:45p.m. in the Reynolds Medical Sciences Building Next to the Medical Sciences Library.
