2007-2008 Officers and Advisors
Texas Iota Chapter, Alpha Epsilon Delta
AED is a student-run organization created for the benefit of students preparing for careers in human, dental, osteopathic, and verterinary medicine as well as other allied health professions. The officers are responsible for overseeing the operation of the organization.


You can fill out an officer application if you are interested in becoming an officer and meet the requirements listed for exemplary members.


President 
Responsibilities : The President is responsible for overseeing all chapter activities and projects and ensures that all fellow officers complete their duties.

Responsibilities : The Vice President develops the program portion of meetings, contacts guest speakers, and makes the necessary arrangements.

Secretary 
Responsibilities : Secretary keeps minutes of all meetings, receives membership applications, and submits membership info to national office.

Treasurer 
Responsibilities : The Treasurer receives dues, pays bills and keeps financial records of the Chapter. 
Victoria Carrera

Historian 
Responsibilities : The Historian keeps written and photographic records of activities and prepares a report on chapter activities for the national office.

Advertising/Reporter 
Responsibilities : The Reporter reports chapter activities to The Scalpel (the national AED publication), manages advertising, and maintains the AED web-page.

ECHO Liaison 
Responsibilities : The ECHO liaison represents AED to the Executive Council of Health Organizations, which oversees and coordinates campus pre-health activities.
